The next Integral European Conference will be in person, in Hungary, in May 2023, possibly with an online dimension. The IEC conferences are the largest gatherings of Integral thinkers and practitioners from all around the globe. I have presented and at four IEC’s, and they were all wonderful, inspiring events. I recommend them highly if you are interested in Integral, and want to meet some inspiring people from all around the world. The IEC conferences are not just ‘talk, talk’: they deliberately engage on all levels – body, mind, heart, soul, spirit – which makes for a fantastic collective ‘vibe’!

For me, the IEC conferences are a tangible, and very inspiring experience of the unity-in-diversity that is the Earth. I really experience people transcending and including their national identities. At all of the conferences I have attended, I have found myself entering a heightened state of consciousness.

Previous IEC’s

At IEC 2020 and 2021 I presented on ‘The Power of Integral Music’, including listening to and talking about the Blue Pearl oratorio. Participants talked about a piece of music that they thought was integral, or was very inspiring for them. Here is the ‘playlist’ of those inspiring pieces of music:

Tavener/Bjork Prayer of the Heart. *** Edde wedder nusrat : *** Mike Scott – The Waterboys *** Zazie-Zen (song) *** “Midnight Moonlight” by The Firm *** Allegri’s Misereri, Jimi Hendrix Turn the Tides, Lisa Gerrard – everything she does *** The Brandenburg Concertos – Bach *** Enzo Enzo- Juste quelqu’un de bien *** Edde wedder nusrat : Nusrat fateh ali Khan & Eddie Vedder – The Long Road *** Leonard Cohen *** Nessun Dorma from the Opera Turandot *** Air on the G String – by J S Bach *** Illumination by Jennifer Thomas: *** BTS – Epiphany *** Eric Whitacre – Lux Aurumque *** Prokofiev, Romeo and Juliet *** Beethoven violin concerto in D major *** Olafur Arnalds *** Edde wedder nusrat : *** Goldberg Variations… Bach – Glenn Gould second recording *** Within you without you – the Beatles *** “Memphis Soul Stew”

2018 was my first IEC conference, in Hungary, before Covid hit. It one of the most extraordinary experiences of my life (and I have had a quite a few extraordinary experiences!). I ran a workshop (‘Demystifying Mysticism‘) and gave two presentations, one on Integral Music, and one titled ‘Integral Hearth: Towards A Collective Integral Practice‘.
