Are you looking for an approach to spiritual practice that fits your contemporary rational worldview?
Do you…
* have experience of mindfulness meditation practice?
* want to go deeper into spirituality?
* within a contemporary scientific-rational framework?
Perhaps you have benefited from mindfulness, but you stopped when it comes to diving deeper into spirituality. Because spirituality is not scientific in the way that mindfulness is. Right…?
Or maybe your have experience of Buddhism, or Christianity or another spiritual path, and you would like to understand the concepts and contemplative practices from a modern, rational-scientific perspective.
There is now a modern approach to spirituality separate from religion. It’s logical, rational. A map that leads beyond beyond maps. And it’s surprisingly simple. It’s called Human Spirituality.
It is a common-sense approach to the deep issues of life, the spiritual issues, for example:
- Deep down, who am I?
- What is my relationship to this vast, evolving universe?
- What is eternity? How does it relate to time?
- Is there a deeper meaning to my life?
And Human Spirituality also gives a modern, rational way to understand meditation practice.
The 30 minute webinar below gives an introduction to Human Spirituality.

“Steve is able to explain complex ideas and make them accessible to the puzzled.” – course participant, ‘Demystifying Mysticism’
I’ve been on a journey of inner healing and exploration since my late 20’s (I’m now 59). I’ve enjoyed the riches of psychodynamic therapy, menswork, and training as a Psychosynthesis counsellor. I’ve been practising meditation in the Buddhist tradition since 1990, learning from many different teachers.
I love meditation!
Along the way I have had some profound, life-changing experiences; spiritual experiences.
In the 1990’s I came across Ken Wilber and his ground-breaking ‘Integral’ synthesis of psychology and spirituality. It was a massive AHA! It was the ‘map’ of spirituality (and psychology) that I had been looking for without quite knowing it.
A map which fitted my core rational-scientific worldview. A rational map of the path that leads beyond rationality.
It’s this rational approach to spirituality which I am now sharing with others.
I’ve put together an online coaching programme to help people learn and practise this new approach to spirituality.
It’s a powerful three-month transformation of your understanding and practice of spirituality. At its heart are small group coaching calls with me where we’ll tackle any difficulties that come up for you one-to-one.
Does this resonate with you? If you are interested in joining me on this profound and transformational journey, please get in touch, and we can set up a Zoom call to discuss next steps, which will include making sure that the course is suitable for you.
Because this course is not for everyone:
- You need to have some experience of meditation practice
- You need to be able to commit to regular meditation practice plus at least a couple of hours a week over three months.
- You need to have a stable and secure sense of self. The course is not for people who are suffering with mental health issues.
If that describes you, and if you have a real desire to learn about a spirituality that fits your modern worldview, then please drop me a line.
